If you've been following me this week on Twitter, you know I asked photographers to send me their top shots for print. Well, they did. I woke up to 300+ submissions within 16 hoursevening Dresses. I'm going through each one personally and as I check off each email, a strong feeling has come over me: gratitude. I've worked my tush off, going 1,000,000 miles per minute for the last few years. As we were getting up to leave, he kept mentioning the fireplace in the entry way. He knows that I love the architect of Canlis (Roland Terry) and the stone fireplace is very mid-century, very cool. Describe the proposal. Unexpected! Harpur proposed on January 24th. We decide to splurge a little and were able to snag a great little table at Canlis. lingerie sale We were sitting there enjoying our first cocktail when I looked around the room I laughed at all the other couples gazing into each others eyes. (Harpur and I, on the other had, were telling jokes!) I said, cheap evening dresses“Isn’t it so cheesy when people propose at Canlis? I mean, how cliché!” He quickly responded by saying, “Oh, totally, I bet it happens all the time.” We continued to have a wonderful, perfect dinner.
